An eclectic group of scholars and masters students from Delhi University visited the museum for a conversation on Partition and memory along with a walk through with the curator. The group brought up some important conversations on migration and displacement and the relevance of historic art for the future. The dialogue engaged with primarily third generation partition survivors on how their personal biasis and family’s social constructs could have been a result of this.
This event was a part of the Education vertical at the Sehgal Private Collection. An ongoing vertical that includes young thinkers and researchers to bring their fresh perspectives on the artist and the era he belonged to.
